Prep & FAQ
Before you book
Seven to ten days with proper aftercare. Moisturize daily, pat dry rather than rub, and skip long hot soaks or chlorine to hold the top end of that range.
Exfoliate 6–24 hours before your session and arrive with clean skin — no lotion, oil, deodorant, perfume or makeup. Wear loose, dark clothing to your appointment and afterward, until you've rinsed.
Once you've rinsed and the color has fully developed, the tan is transfer-resistant under normal wear. For a wedding or event in light-colored fabric, we recommend booking a trial tan 1–2 weeks ahead so there's time to confirm timing and see how it wears before the big day.
